Randy Hayes recently delivered a talk entitled “The Great Transformation: Roadmaps for an Ecological Civilization” at the Praxis Peace Institute.
About the proposal: “It’s a large-scale plan in part to reduce humanity’s foot on the throat of the planet’s life support systems. It would buy time for further changes. It would require pressuring the 20 largest economies (G20) to make meaningful changes in five societal systems. Citizen movement campaigning in each of the G20 countries would be backed up with major public relations effort tailored to each area. The PR campaign would support campaign demands in the five systems. It would also be a clarion call articulating a shift to an ecological civilization.”
