We are working to make possible the formation of a Next System Studies Association (NSSA), a global professional association of next system scholars.
Coordinated by a committee drawing from two dozen academic institutions and civil society organizations, this global network of academic and community-based scholars is building Next System scholarship through workshops, conferences, teach-ins, publications, and collaborative research projects.
Immediate projects include building a shared Next System Learning Library and organizing the first major round of Next System Teach-Ins for the Spring of 2025 (click here for a description and here for resources from a pilot round of Next System Teach-Ins that took place in 2016, as well as here for a keynote from the teach-in at UCSB).
