Robert Hickey

Robert Hickey is an Editor at Western Governors University and an Editorial Consultant at Crimson Interactive. From 2009 to 2015, he was a Project Officer at the Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Programme of the Applied Research and Communications Fund, a premier think-and-action tank located in Sofia, Bulgaria. His work focuses on energy and environmental policy, citizen participation in policymaking, the evaluation of research and innovation systems, and improving the understanding and promotion of sustainable innovation. He is also a PhD candidate at the International Business School in Botevgrad, Bulgaria, where he focuses on the potential of energy efficiency improvements in buildings to help address global climactic and energy challenges while promoting, or at least unencumbering, economic growth.
