Neville Bruce

Neville Bruce is founding director of the Centre for Integrated Human Studies at the University of Western Australia. The Centre aims to integrate the natural sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities to illuminate the complex problems facing humankind in the twenty-first century, with a focus on developing undergraduate and graduate curricula that train students to make a positive contribution toward human well-being. He has a background in veterinary science and human biology, and his research interests in human reproduction and psychobiological determinants of human health and well-being. He is an active member in Scientists Against Nuclear Arms, the Peace Education Society, and the Western Australia Alternative Fuels Association. He holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne.
