Mary Louise Malig

Mary Louise Malig is an activist researcher, policy analyst, and campaigner based in Bolivia. She has written on trade, food, agriculture, climate change, and deforestation. She is co-author of the book The Anti-Development State: The Political Economy of Permanent Crisis in the Philippines and the author of reports such as The Whole of Mercosur in Exchange for a Plate of Beef, and Big Corporations, the Bali Package and Beyond. Previously, she served as Trade Campaign Coordinator of Focus on the Global South and staff in Asia for La Via Campesina.
