Evelin Lindner is the founding president of Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies, a global transdisciplinary fellowship of concerned academics and practitioners. She is also co-founder of the World Dignity University initiative, which includes Dignity Press and World Dignity University Press. As an educator, she has taught in numerous settings around the world. She has authored numerous articles and book chapters and several books, including Making Enemies: Humiliation and International Conflict; Gender, Humiliation, and Global Security; A Dignity Economy; and the forthcoming Honor, Humiliation, and Terror. She holds an MD and a PhD in psychology from the University of Hamburg.
