Charlene Spretnak

Charlene Spretnak is the author of nine books on cultural history, feminism, Green politics, and religion and spirituality, including The Resurgence of the Real. Her recent work explores how discoveries in human biology about dynamic interrelatedness as the key to understanding how the physical world, including humans, is structured and functions. She is a co-founder of the US Green Party movement and also of two branches of the feminist movement: the women's spirituality movement and ecofeminism. She holds an MA in English and American literature from the University of California at Berkeley.
