Bonn Juego
Bonn Juego is Senior Lecturer in International Development Studies at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, and Chair of the Finnish Society for Development Research. He writes across academic, policy, and public spheres on the political economy of development, geopolitics, and ecological and technological change under capitalism, with particular attention to Global South issues, specifically Southeast Asia and North-South relations. His work also engages heterodox development economics, labor and social movement studies, and alternative futures. Previously, he worked in the Philippine government, research-based advocacy think tanks, and global civil society organizations. He holds a PhD in Development and International Relations from Aalborg University, Denmark.
