Adam Blakester

Adam Blakester is the Executive Director and co-founder of Starfish Initiatives, a charity that promotes rural and regional sustainability in Australia. Starfish’s projects include collaborative governance, renewable energy, regenerative farming, youth development, social housing, mental health, and disability services. He is also a sustainability strategist at Paradigm Play, Director of the Minerals Policy Institute, and Chair of The Armidale Waldorf School Governance & Leadership Committee. Previously, he held leadership positions at the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition, Families Australia, the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, the Climate Action Network (Australia), and Greenpeace Australia Pacific.
